Own your own Beehive with Native Nosi & The People’s Fund! This beehive will be managed, extracted and sold through The Native Nosi brand. You earn R36 ($2,8) per kilo of honey sold from your beehive for the next 6 years!

How It Works
  1. You contribute R1200 ($92) (or a multiple of it, maximum is R12000 ($920) for 10 beehives) to this campaign.
  2. At the end of the campaign you become an owner of the beehive which will be managed under The Native Nosi brand.
  3. For the next six years, you will earn R36 ($2,8) for each kilo of honey extracted from you beehive
  4. this will be paid out quarterly to you
  5. The entire payment process will be managed by The People’s Fund and Audited by SnB Chartered Accountants & Auditors ( Practice Number 966205)
  6. The People’s Fund will take 10% of the proceeds (or R3,60 ($0,28) per kilo) to administer this.
  7. You own the Beehive for 6 years and then it is passed onto Native Nosi after this period.
Expected Returns

NB!! First & foremost, we need to declare that this does not constitute financial advise in anyway and that we have made our projections based on historical yields. Buying assets that will be run by a small business is risky and you should only commit money you are willing to lose.

Native Nosi usually yields 20kg per Beehive per year, we have based our calculations on 10kg. The first 12 months are used to populate the beehives so no harvesting happens. on these estimates we expect 50kg of honey per Beehive. That is a total of R1800 ($139) back in your pocket.

Mind Your Bees’ Wax

Secondly, we will be selling the Beewax produces by the bees and expect to sell 10kg of wax per beehive. From this you get R50 ($3,8) per kilo of wax sold. This gives a total of R500 ($38)

combining the two numbers we get a total of R2300 ($177), just under a 100% return for the period. Put another way, you would get a 16% return, year on year, paid out quarterly (every 3 months as a royalty) for the next six years.

Put in how many you would like to buy (make sure it’s a multiple of R1200 ($92), any amount not a multiple of R1200($92) will be treated as the sale of honey. e.g. R1800 ($138)contributed will be 1 beehive and 2 honey hampers of R275  ($21)).

We at Impi Brewing Co, believe and support environmental initiatives and firmly believe in the principles of corporate social responsibility. We fell in love with this concept as we are fully aware of the impact the possible extinction of the honey bee will have globally. Support this initiative it is truly sweet in nature.

We are a family that uses a lot of honey for out tea and cereals. We use about a kg of honey a month. We are really considering this.

I bought a Beehive for my friend for her birthday (who needs more stuff right?) and I was so impressed with the level of efficiency and fantastic service. They called my friend on said morning with birthday wishes and announcement of her gift. Such a worthwhile gift.

Excellent concept to cut monopolistic banks who have been scalping our earnings like water melons.

A way to go: this will go a long way into creating jobs locally and help produce quality honey( some imports of honey from some country are said to be mixed with syrup , this can help stop such abuse)
